Panasonic Connect North America introduces TOUGHBOOK 40 with high-speed connectivity to support mobile workers.

Panasonic Connect North America, a Division of Panasonic Corporation of North America, unveiled Touchbook 40, which is a sturdy and configurable laptop that combines the TOUGHBOOK brand's dependability and durability with more advancement to achieve effective resistance, pace, and connectivity to support mobile employees' varied requirements in today's fully digitized community.

TOUGHBOOK 40 is lightweight, sturdy, and with a large display delivering an ideal balance of robust and high performance. The TOUGHBOOK 40, in conjunction with Panasonic ProServices, enables customers in enforcement agencies, government departments, and utility companies to optimize efficiency and lower operational costs.

The TOUGHBOOK 40 is equipped with 11th Gen Intel® vPro® CPUs, as well as AMD dedicated graphics* or Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics for real-time processing of vast volumes of data, pictures, and video feeds. The TOUGHBOOK 40 has the first 5MP webcam in its class, which is ideal for video conferencing for telemedicine or distant services. It has a privacy cover for added protection and infrared support for Windows Hello facial recognition.

Multiple cellular and connectivity options, including a 4G or 5G modem*, are available for the TOUGHBOOK 40. LTE, LTE-A, and bandwidth up to 2 Gbps are supported via the 4G modem. The 5G modem enables 4G (LTE, LTE-A) and 5G (mmWave, C-band, Sub6) with up to 5.5 Gbps speeds. It automatically syncs to the best available network without the need for the user to intervene. For optimal flexibility, both 4G and 5G modems support FirstNet® (band 14), CBRS Private LTE (band 48), and offer dual SIM (physical SIM + eSIM). It also has encrypted  OPAL SSDs (FIPS is optional), the choice of five different authentication xPAKs, TPM 2.0 and Intel® Hardware Shield to provide high-end security.
