Infovista SD-WAN update provides improved capabilities to its evolving ecosystem of Managed Service Provider partners.
FREMONT, CA: Infovista announces a major update to its Ipanema Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) platform that provides improved capabilities to its evolving ecosystem of Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners comprising new multi-tenancy features and a flexible, consumption-based licensing model. The latest release provides an attractive on-ramp for both conventional channel partners and service firms considering portfolio expansion with a Managed SD-WAN offering to ultimately become an MSP.
Infovista is among the first SD-WAN vendors to provide both a true pay as you go" model and flex up and down consumption offering that permits MSPs and customers to transform service tiers and capacity choices without initiating a new set-term contract. The new licensing model allows self-provisioning and automated upscaling of potential as needed, offering maximum flexibility and agility for both the service provider and the enterprise end-user.
Infovista works closely with its partner community to understand and deliver what they require to differentiate their offerings and boost margins. This update aids MSPs to better address the needs of a growing community of end-customers that are deploying SD-WAN for the first time, in part, due to the demand to tackle work-from-home issues and growing cloud and SaaS usage.
Driven by expectations that SD-WAN will allow lower-cost via the use of the public internet and increased flexibility and agility, there is forecasted annual growth in SD-WAN implementations of around 18 percent annually through 2024, according to Gartner. The Infovista partner community includes over 144 managed service providers and system integrators across 150 countries. The new Ipanema SD-WAN was released in February of 2021 and coincides with a recruitment drive to add partner ability in certain key European markets to address the increased demand.
The new update builds upon transparent concept that allows the delivery of SD-WAN without the need for costly replacement or complex reconfiguration of network switches and routers. This allows our partners to enable new services without expecting customers to commit to major CAPEX spend, which is a significant advantage for many organizations at this financially difficult time.
The update also features extensive integration improvements to allow MSPs to build SD-WAN capability into value-added services. Unified Communications, remote backup, and enhanced security services can easily be coupled with the Ipanema SD-WAN Orchestrator's ability to interface with Partners Operations Support Systems (OSS).
