The Royal Observatory Greenwich has paired up with Infinix for a unique collaboration.

FREMONT, CA: Infinix, a global smartphone brand, has formed a corporate partnership with the Royal Observatory Greenwich in London as part of the company's commitment to science and innovation. The partnership is an exciting way to introduce the public to astronomy by using groundbreaking new technology from Infinix.

Skye Chen, Head of Infinix Global Public Relations, says, “Infinix is proud to be on the list of donors to the Greenwich Observatory as a supporter of astronomy. As a supporter of astronomy, Infinix has kept a true to heart brand spirit of empowering today’s youth in the emerging markets to explore themselves, that has deeply resonated with space exploration and Greenwich’s philosophy in exploring astronomy.”

Infinix is also giving a significant donation to the Royal Observatory's Annie Maunder Astrographic Telescope as part of its commitment, ensuring that future generations can learn about the universe and be encouraged to explore.

Lucy Cooke, Head of Development at Royal Museums Greenwich, says, “We are very grateful for Infinix’s generous support and commitment to increasing access to astronomy. The collaboration is a natural fit for both our organizations and we are delighted that together, we can give more people the opportunity to explore and experience the Moon and universe.”

As part of the corporate partnership, Infinix has hosted an online workshop titled "Infinix presents: See beyond" on September 13th, 2021, at the world-famous UNESCO world heritage site of the Royal Observatory Greenwich. The workshop brought together a unique panel of experts from the fields of astronomy and technology.

Beginning at the juncture of the eastern and western hemispheres, the Observatory will also serve as the launch location for Infinix's brand new smartphone, which features groundbreaking photography technology and is designed to provide a creative platform for the younger generation, taking them from ZERO to hero.
