David Cook Joins Edison Interactive as the New Chief Technology Officer

David Cook has been appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer of Edison Interactive, a pioneer in connected mobility solutions.

FREMONT, CA: David Cook has been appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer of Edison Interactive, a pioneer in connected mobility solutions. Cook's arrival strengthens Edison's objective to create customer-centric, connected mobility solutions in aircraft, trains, automobiles, and everything in between, having spent much of his career focusing on connected vehicles.

Cook will be in charge of Edison's technology team and will control the company's product and engineering initiatives. His significant experience in telematics, connected automobiles, and fleet management will help advance its overall technology strategy and ensure its long-term growth and success.

In the past, Cook has worked in leadership positions for Mercedes-Benz mbrace, Hughes In-Drive, OnStar SiriusXM, Verizon, Oracle, and Hyundai Blue Link. He also won Best Telematics Service Provider in 2012 and was a finalist for the TM Forum Business Innovation Award. Cook will be well-positioned to lead Edison through continuing digital transformation and bring a fresh perspective on Edison's fundamental pillars, including infotainment, asset tracking, telematics, and monetization, due to his previous experience and accomplishments in connected mobility.
