By Enterprise Networking Mag | Monday, July 09, 2018

SAN JOSE, CA: Specialized in data storage and networking arena, Brocade is launching new applications in software defined networking market; Brocade Flow Optimizer and Brocade MLX Series routers. These applications will diminish network performance hurdles instantly and disentangle network controlling using open daylight control system.

To rectify the complexity in network capacity planning, network resource utilization and network congestion, Brocade Flow Optimizer coupled with Brocade MLXe routers will offer intelligent visibility of network during network traffic. The key features of Flow Optimizer application are remarking Quality of Service (QoS) priorities for traffic flows, redirecting, rate limiting and discarding traffic flows.

It will prevent expensive network fluctuation and disruption in service through minimizing layer 2-4 traffic attacks intensively. Web based graphical user interface will be simpler, updated and flexible as it supports dashboards, reports, event logging and statistics.

It offers integration with third party system architecture and provides other companies an in-depth knowledge about their network system.

The era of new IP, a virtual IP networking craves for cloud based application to support social, mobile and Big Data. Therefore network intelligence became crucial to start foundation for new internet protocols and open SDN architecture with Hybrid Open Flow to protect network investments.

Brocade also announced the release of Brocade Neltron OS 5.9 software which is build for SDN advancement and compatible with Brocade MLX Series routers.
