ADVA has recently declared that Welcome Italia has chosen its FSP 3000 and ALM fiber monitoring solutions. Is it going to impact enterprise services in Italy? If yes, then how?

FREMONT, CA: ADVA, an intelligent telecommunications infrastructure solutions provider, has declared the selection of its FSP 3000 and ALM fiber monitoring solution by Welcome Italia. This technology partnership mainly focuses on assured high potential organizational services throughout Italy by creating flexible fiber-optic infrastructure and offer the security and credibility that the Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G require the most. The new network stretches over to 2,500 km, connecting two primary data centers of Welcome Italia while featuring ADVA'S directionless, colorless, and flex grid multi-degree ROADMs. It is thus enhancing availability through automatic traffic rerouting. The solution also leverages comprehensive, low-latency security of ConnectGuard Optical encryption technology of ADVA. The network is currently being installed by ADVA's partner Sirti, which will later also offer ongoing maintenance and support.

ADVA Optical Networking uses software-automated Optical+Ethernet transmission technology, which is responsible for setting up the foundation for high-speed, next-generation networks. The organization's FSP product services eliminate the complexity of networks and help in cost reduction by adding scalability and intelligence to clients' networks.

ADVA Optical Networking was featured as one of the Top 10 SDN Solution Providers - 2019 in Enterprise Networking Magazine. The CEO of ADVA, Brian Protiva, says, "The transport SDN utilizes optical network abstraction for simple integration into SDN-based environments and multi-layer coordination."

The scalable and efficient solutions of ADVA provide support to Welcome Italia in delivering fast, flexible, and safe business continuity services and simultaneously helps them in cost cut-down, thereby building pathways towards the future. This deployment has fulfilled the urgent requirements of Italian companies i.e., the enterprises can rely on high speed and low latency connectivity, which is entirely shielded by real-time fiber.

Welcome Italia's new network is built on the ADVA FSP 3000. This new backbone network helps in simplifying complex network operation along with reducing operational and capital expenditure. With its scalable architecture, FSP 3000 leverages Welcome Italia's freedom to expand its network whenever it is required without any time delay. ADVA ALM monitors FSP 3000, which further provides real-time insight into the performance and integrity of fiber infrastructure, thus significantly enhancing efficiency and robustness. In addition, Ensemble Controller, which manages the complete network, does the job of fusing programmatic control with efficiency in manual operations. This advanced version of management and domain control solution assists the users simultaneously, also allowing intelligent algorithms to allocate data and take autonomous action.
